The 2018 G550 4x4 is Mercedes Benz's powerful and rugged luxury SUV that combines off-road capability with cutting-edge technology and an unparalleled driving experience. This vehicle is the perfect blend of luxury and adventure, with a design that's both functional and stylish.Under the hood, It has the familiar twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8, and in this case it makes 416 horsepower and 450 pound feet of torque. This impressive powertrain allows the 4x4 to go from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds, making it one of the fastest and most powerful SUVs on the market. The engine is paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission that delivers smooth and efficient shifting.
It also has substantially upgraded suspension, plus the addition of portal axles. It retains the independent front suspension introduced on this new generation of G-Class. Ground clearance measures 18 inches, and weighs just less then 6,700 pounds. Additionally, the new 4x4 features a full-time four-wheel drive system that is also paired with a full complement of lockers and low range gears.
The visual changes are what you would expect of the 4x4. It has massively extended fender flares finished with carbon fiber overlaying the sides. They cover up 22" inch wheels with massive 36" inch tires. The carbon fiber continues on the off-road light housing on the roof facing forward and all accents inside finished in carbon fiber.
This car was originally delivered to the Mercedes Benz dealer of Boerne, Texas to the original owner on April 18th, 2018. The car remained their until later 2022, where it was then shipped to Georgia for a short period of time, and then finally making its final descent down to South Florida, where it now resides in immaculate condition, covering just 55 miles since new.
