The convertible version of what many believe to be one of Ferrari's last front-engined, V-12-powered berlinetta, the 812 GTS was also the first front-engined production V-12-powered convertible offered by Ferrari since the discontinuation of the 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider.It borrowed many of the 812 Superfast's best features, including the 6.5 Liter V-12 with its 789 horsepower and 530 pound-feet of torque, and its rear-wheel steering system and adaptive suspension ensure agile handling and precise cornering, providing a sense of confidence even at high speeds. Additionally adopting new touches such as a transmission with shorter gear ratios that ensured acceleration remained equal to the coupe. Styling was massaged throughout to ensure maximum aerodynamic efficiency even without a roof. Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph took an estimated 2.8 seconds, on the way to a top speed of 211 mph.
