Vehicle Overview
The Murcielago SV is one of Lamborghini's most limited edition supercars that was produced only during the years 2009-2010. The Murcielago SV stands for "Super Veloce," which translates to "Super Fast" in English. It was designed to be the ultimate version of the Murcielago, with enhanced performance and an aggressive appearance. Only 350 units of the Murcielago SV were intentionally to be produced, but ended up making a supposed 186 units world wide(this one being #188); and only roughly 44 units produced for the North American Market. This particular car is one of the only ones finished in Nero Black, this one being even more rare having the Yellow "SV" writing on the side and stitching interior.Under the hood, the Murcielago SV is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces a whopping 670 horsepower (30 more than a normal LP-640) and 490 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels. With this powertrain, the Murcielago SV is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds and can reach a top speed of 212 mph. It also features an advanced all-wheel-drive system and a lightweight carbon fiber body that helps to reduce weight (220 pounds lighter than a normal LP-640) and improve performance.
The exterior of the Murcielago SV is characterized by its aggressive design, with completely redesigned sharp angles and aerodynamic curves that give the car a menacing look. The front of the car features a new large front splitter and a massive rear wing that helps to generate downforce at high speeds. The rear of the car is also adorned with Matte Carbon-Fiber accents and a distinctive quad-exhaust system that emits a deep sound.
Inside the cabin, the Murcielago SV is equally impressive, with a luxurious and sporty interior that is designed for maximum driver engagement. The seats are made of lightweight carbon fiber and upholstered in Black Alcantara leather, and the dashboard is adorned with a specially designed instrument cluster that provides the driver with that fighter jet style feeling while driving.
This particular car was originally delivered to Alfa Romeo of San Diego, California on September 30th, 2009 to the original owner. The car made its way to Washington, DC where it was heavily maintained and well cared for. In October of 2012, it made its way to South Florida where it was stationed down here for a whole decade. The car then made its way back to California where it underwent a tremendous Service costing over $34k. The car made its final descent down to South Florida where it now resides covering just over 685 original miles!
